StrathLoop is a student driven initiative at the University of Strathclyde with the support of the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering. The team is comprised of 100 graduate and undergraduate students from a fields of study including Engineering, Physics, Computer Science & Product Design. StrathLoop was created with the aim to push transportation innovation forward towards a more efficient and eco-friendly mode, starting with Hyperloop. The idea of this program is also to expose engineering students to real world problems and give them the opportunity to manage a project autonomously and see that project come to fruition.A transportation revolution is underway in every aspects of transportation systems and we do not want to be spectators to this revolution but actors and front-runners in it. StrathLoop's aim is to be a reference in the world of transportation by innovative designs and ideas.StrathLoop's mission is to offer graduate and undergraduate students the opportunity and the tools to develop a safe, performant and environmentally friendly open source innovative mode of transportation. We deeply value the fact that the transportation revolution should be accessible to everybody which is the reason why we make all our designs open source and publicly available.
