StreetSuds is a laundry service, which functions as a transitional employment program for individuals who are seeking to transform from a life of welfare dependency and instability to self-sustainability and autonomy. Using a laundry service as a transitional vehicle into the workplace, StreetSuds teaches job and life skills to previously homeless individuals wishing to enter the workforce. By matching the employment needs with consumer needs, StreetSuds sensitizes and integrates the greater Montreal community with those most isolated.
