Nonprofit Organization Management - Frederick, Maryland, United States
STRENGTH: Most commonly, strength is attributed to physical strength. How far can you run? How much can you lift? While that may be one aspect of strength. It does not provide the whole picture. True strength comes from the mind. Having the strength to say no to those close to you when their actions go against your morals. It comes from having the strength to wake up every morning and pursue your dreams even though you know the road less traveled will not be the easy one. True strength comes from the ability to reach out when in need. True strength comes from you and the community that you choose to serve. Our goal as a foundation is to inspire our communities to have develop this true strength by coming together as a unit or system. That system involves each and every one of our members coming together as one collective community. HONOR: Amongst respect, trust, and morality; honor establishes what values we hold dear. Without respect, our projects will perish. Without trust, our foundation will fail. Without Morals the system and what we and our members stand for is fundamentally flawed. It is not an easy feat to have true honor in today's world. The dreams of what this foundation aims to accomplish and the belief that our community and members have in us as an organization exemplify this honor. An organization that places an emphasis on honor creates a strong foundation which catalyzes fruitful results for all organization affiliates. Our foundation holds itself to the utmost standard for our community. Held together by the strength and honor that our members resonate with - hence the "Strength & Honor" name. We preach what we are and having the strength to stick by our word is exactly what we aim to fulfill as we serve the public alongside those who support the Strength & Honor Foundation.
