My Passion for landscape engineering began in 1986 with my first commercial project. Since then I have certified hundreds of landscape contractors on the principles of landscape design and engineering through the National Masonry Concrete Association. I have presented to over 150 architectural and engineering firms on the design and engineering of segmental retaining wall and permeable paver systems. I organized the first Green Infrastructure Paver Symposium with Indianapolis Office of Sustainability involvement , directly contributing to the 2012 Super Bowl Legacy Project. I am called upon as an industry expert by architectural firms, engineering firms, commercial/residential contractors, and homeowners statewide to resolve a variety of engineering challanges. Step 1: Evaluation of your plan – We take a look at what you want to do and provide consultation on how to accomplish what you want and to point out any engineering issues that may arise.Step 2: Standardize the bidding – There are many ways to accomplish any particular project. We will standardize the project specs based on what is the best approach. This will allow you to compare apples-to-apples.Step 3: Project management – We will inspect the project at key points during the implementation of your project. This will ensure that all quality standards are being met.Step 4: Inspection and certification – We will walk through the project with you, inspect the job, and provide you with a certification, along with visual images, to confirm that all work was completed as specified and to industry best practices. If you don't have the time to oversee your project or aren't confident in your knowledge in landscape engineering, we are here to help.Wade Locklear, President Interlocking Concrete Paver Institute - Certified InstallerNational Concrete Masonry Association - Certified Instructor
