STRIPES is the body of students who support a Queer Collective on the Sydney Campus of the University of Notre Dame Australia. It is our mission to ensure every student at Notre Dame feels safe, included and acknowledged when they are enrolled in the Sydney campus. We are a non-exclusive club that is student-driven and community-focused. STRIPES is built on the foundations of trust, confidence, friendship, acceptance and respect.We aim to provide pastoral and peer support to all LGBTQI+ students, and allies. We hold many events throughout the year consisting of social gatherings, specialized talks concerning social justices and LGBTQI+ issues, and opportunities to discuss educational experiences
