Strobs leverages IoT and wearable technology, along with the data they gather, to enable service-oriented businesses to make more informed decisions – both in the moment and over time. We don't believe that it is good business for companies to use technology to hide from their customers. While automation and self-service can be expedient, they can easily make a business feel and act impersonal. Contrary to others' approach of using technology to dehumanize the service experience, Strobs believes that technology can and should be used to humanize the service experience. In many industries, it is no longer enough to compete on just price and costs. Through our IoT devices, analytics translate service request and response data into intelligence and insights. As elegant as it is, we see hardware as merely a mechanism for collecting the data that will ultimately inform service and business insights. This is particularly true in two "high touch" industries, hospitality and healthcare, where the quality and speed of service have become important differentiators to consumers. Technology should be used behind the scenes to make service better and more responsive and to focus the right amount of direct human touch where and when it is most valuable and that is customer-facing, unobtrusive, easy to use to enable "on demand", high touch personal service.
