The Student Alumni Committee is a student-run body that acts as an interface between the students & alumni of IIM Bangalore. The committee's vision is ‘Building Bridges Across Time' by providing mutual benefits to the students & the alumni by ensuring that students leverage the rich Alumni network & the Alumni stay connected with their Alma Mater.AboutStudent Alumni Committee (AlumCom) thrives on fostering ever-strengthening bonds between the current students & the extensive alumni network of IIM Bangalore by functioning as a bridge between the two. The club believes that the rich alumni base harbours an incomparable wealth of experience, which is invaluable for the student body's overall development.Events & ActivitiesAlumni Speaker Series – Both formal & informal gatherings of IIMB alumni & current students, facilitating enriching & insightful sessionsAnusmaran - A Day out with alums across cities/chapters, acknowledging their achievements & facilitating the startup cornersIIMBue – An annual global Leadership Conclave organized by IIM Bangalore Alumni Association; the event hosts prominent speakers from diverse fields along with panel discussionsReunions – Facilitate batch reunions to take them through the memory lane, in reminiscing & reliving those campus momentsAlumni Interviews & Video snippets – Video snippets & interviews of prominent alumni to help the current batchAlumni Mentorship program - An initiative to enable students to seek guidance through one-on-one interactions with the alumsInter institute (IIM A, B, C, L, & XLRI) connect – An initiative to leverage the alumni network of top B-schools of IndiaYearbooks & Alumni Cards – A memorabilia with snippets, pictures & writeupsTeam AlumComAlumCom is a team of 18 student coordinators who manage & conduct events & activities mentioned earlier.
