Student Alumni Relations Cell (SARC) is a student organization, which is run by the students of BIT Mesra.The goal of the Student Alumni Relations Cell(SARC) is to foster a strong relationship between the alumni and students for the sustainable growth and well being of such individuals who connect to BIT Mesra. It gives a chance, to both the alumni and students alike, to network, ensure visibility and growth of individuals at all levels. With SARC as a medium, our alumni are able to pro-actively contribute their competencies towards the betterment of their alma mater. Objectives: - The Cell identifies the following functions as its objectives:(1) To keep alumni in touch with the institute(2) To build a network for healthy interaction among students and alumni: • To make present students inspired by the achievements of their alumni.• To help alumni stay updated on the youth culture by interacting with young minds from their own alma mater.• To establish relations of mentorship and support between settled alumni and struggling students.• To foster relationships that supersede time and distance.(3) To create opportunities for alumni involvement in placements, internships, and other spheres of industrial and academic interest.
