Student Emergency Medical Services Foundation (SEMSF) is a non-profit organization founded upon the concept of a peer-to-peer intervention strategy in diminishing student deaths related to alcohol and drug issues. In our culture of excess, our society has developed a habit of binge drinking and drug usage leading to 1,700 students deaths seen among college campuses every year. This number will only continue to increase. Moreover, these student deaths pertain to the most extreme cases of excess. Thus, the number of injuries incurred by alcohol and drugs are unimaginable. These students are our world's future foundation: business professionals, doctors, politicians, and ultimately, the leaders. Alcohol and drug related deaths and injuries are unwarranted and can be prevented. Help the SEMS Foundation take the first step in "changing culture, saving lives.
