Students Making Films is a non-profit, Section 501(c)(3) Organization, raising money to finance student filmmaking, provide scholarships, and to support McCallum High School's Media Technologies Department. Founded by a group of parents of high-school students who are passionate about making films the organization has its roots in FAMTAG. This is an acronym that stands for Film and Media Technology Advisory Group, a booster club for the Audio/Video Productions classes at the Fine Arts Academy at McCallum High School.
