A beautiful and fun studio filled with sewing machines where friends come together to work on projects, help new sewers, and take classes, too. Imagine a room filled with equipment saved from attics all over Savannah, humming away while the treads and dust fall to the floor. Don't worry, we'll clean up for you!Studio 53 is a membership-based studio, where for the monthly dues, you will get full access to the equipment. Not sure if you want to sew that much? Don't worry, we have day passes, too. There's an assortment of work-horse vintage machines that can handle your toughest projects, new machines with fancy stitches and a delicate touch, and a couple industrial machines for the serious stitcher. Lockers are available for rent to keep your projects safe from the cat and kids in between sewing sessions. And there's a retail corner with all those little things you thought you bought or ran out of, just to help keep you going.
