Studio Benessia-Maccagno is a professional legal partnership, with offices in Turin and Milan, founded in 1978 by Angelo Benessia and Cristiana Maccagno Benessia.It is a civil law practice focusing on commercial law: company law and in particular extraordinary finance transactions, M&A, private equity, corporate governance, auditing firms, Italian and EU competition; banking law including financial intermediation and insurance broking; intellectual and industrial property law; insolvency law with particular emphasis on preventive and protection procedures as well as business and corporate reorganisation and restructuring; wills and estates, with specific reference to generational transfers; labour law, also with reference to corporate reorganisations; and administrative law especially public sector invitations to tender and contracts, public utilities, public-private partnerships and mixed companies, project finance and relations with supervisory authorities. In all the above areas, Studio Benessia-Maccagno provides advice and assistance outside the courts as well as representation before the courts and arbitration panels. This includes the maintaining of contacts and litigation vis-à-vis supervisory authorities. We offer advice and assistance in the domestic and transnational management of compensation actions in contract or in tort, also in class actions.
