‘Describing a fellow creative and good friend's work is one of most difficult things to do. Jokingly I'd say that Idris is the love child of Dick Bruna & Charley Harper and that wouldn't be far from the mark in describing his work and ethics. Influenced by his "parents" he is walking the path of playful simplicity, trying to find an universal language in his work without losing craftsmanship and refinement.
