Recycle bin is a mutli-disciplinary architectural and urban design firm based on Trivandrum and Chennai. Recycle bin does all kinds of architectural and urban designing projects with a focus on social and community interventions. The projects are often experimental in nature, the process and product of which are a response to the externality rather than the subject. The projects, be it from residential to public or from interiors to open spaces, all encompasses these externalities not as an add on but as inevitable part of the process. Recycle bin does architectural projects ranging from government projects to residential structures. In every project bin follows design process where externalities are a protagonist and not a secondary facet. Urban design projects done by bin includes large scale landscape projects, community involved waste management and creating new boundaries of interactions between public and planning- designing. These projects usually involve inputs from multi-disciplinary individuals. Bin believes that social campaigns are for common gain. Bin has started and lead several social campaigns for public toilet development, waste management and climate change parameters. Emphasis is given to find solutions for day to day problems faced by the common, through design thinking. Any sort of development or change requires thorough research.
