Welcome to our adventure. Here we develop original, timeless products that bring a smile on peoples face. Inspired by nature, we use elemental shapes and natural materials, mostly paper and wood. With the Studio Snowpuppe products and way of life, we want to create physical and mental space in which new ideas can blossom. In 2006 Nellianna studied architecture abroad in Sweden. Travelling around Scandinavia she got inspired by nature's smooth combination of force and simplicity. A good friend of her gave her a snowman puppet with the message to follow her dreams. Together with the impression of all the beautiful Scandinavian design, this ‘Snowpuppe' became hertalisman and adventure guide.Kenneth is the one often asking our team to stop folding lampshades and listen to his new discoveries. The DNA of nature, its ingenious proportions and beauty inspire him to design shapes that instinctively merge in our lives and surroundings. Studio Snowpuppe creates lampshades that diffuse a smooth light while making a great visual impact. The high quality paper is produced in Europe and filters the light of LED bulbs into a cosy, warm glow at home or at work. Our aim is to consume sustainably and respect life, our surroundings and ourselves. The impact on the environment is minimized by using basic, lightweight materials and smart, folded distributing. In 2014 we focused on developing a new material combining our two favourite ingredients: paper and birch wood. This enables us to create greater lamps. Also we have developed a new shape and re-introduced our treasured design: a bigger version of the classical Chestnut. Thanks to these developments, we see new opportunities for private & professional interior projects.Nellianna & Kenneth.
