shio is form of lighted mineral sculpture I invented a few years ago, inspired by my adventures in Yellowstone National Park as a child. The idea is to let simple, elegant physics create beautiful objects. I think of them as living crystal beings, frozen in time, and filled with light. No two are ever the same, and every one is made by hand in my Seattle studio.
