A study tour is an intercontinental trip for students. During this trip, students will investigate a research theme related to the country. In September 2020, study tour Daejo is going to South-Korea and Shanghai with a group of 30 Biomedical Engineering and Technical Medicine students from the University of Twente. In three weeks time, we will visit cities in South-korea & Shanghai with different areas of interest in the (bio)medical field. During the trip, a good balance between educational and cultural excursions will be ensured.Prior to the study tour, the participating students will carry out an investigation on topics like culture, history, economy and biomedical advancements in South-Korea & Shanghai. They will also receive lectures on some of these topics, to gain in-depth knowledge but also to broaden their research. Apart from the educational research, the participating students will also carry out a contract research or case study.
