Founded in 2009 by Elisa Goodkind, a veteran fashion stylist, and her daughter, Lily Mandelbaum, a former film student, StyleLikeU is a media platform that empowers self-expression and self-acceptance. Through intimate docu-style videos, we feature diverse stories of those who are unapologetically themselves. The comfort and beauty that each of our subject exudes in their skin inspires viewers to discover that same sense of comfort and beauty within their own, thus freeing people from marketing's negative effects on the human experience. After producing thousands of raw, honest docu-style videos, we have harnessed a new wave of fashion where style is not about celebrity status, trends or airbrushed photographs. Style is self-acceptance and at the core of every person's identity. With a viral video series, a book, TV show and a Kickstarter-funded documentary in the works, the time to change the conversation on beauty and style is now!
