Suffolk University Madrid is the University's European branch and an extension of our main campus, located in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts, one of America's historic learning centers.Located in the university area of the city, Suffolk Madrid is easily accessible to the city center. Our nearest neighbor is Universidad CEU San Pablo, an acclaimed private Spanish institution. By special academic agreement, Suffolk Madrid students have access to CEU San Pablo's academic offering and extracurricular activities.Suffolk Madrid enrolls about 110-150 students who primarily come the United States as well as Spain and other European Union countries, Asia and Latin America. Visitors comment on the energy and excitement of our students' intellectual curiosity. They are open to rediscovering their place in the world by exploring new cultures. We encourage the sharing of international perspectives and ideas. Suffolk Madrid's intimate size and student-centered philosophy allow us to provide close attention to each individual. Our professors work closely with students to guide their academic progress and keep them on the right course to achieve their academic goals. We help our students adapt to life in Spain—on campus, in their housing arrangements, through carefully planned excursions—and guide them in the development of intercultural communication skills that will stay with them throughout their lives.Suffolk University is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc. and its Sawyer Business School carries AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation. The ABA and AALS accredit the Law School, and the New England School of Art and Design boasts NASAD accreditation. Suffolk University Madrid Campus was originally established in 1995, and is authorized by the official educational body within the Madrid regional government.
