Registered in Thane, the NGO is conducting a project which aims at forest restoration throughenvironmental rehabilitation by addressing the welfare issues of the local people, mainly thetribal community living Below Poverty Line because they play a major role in forestconservation. VisionTo rehabilitate and protect the environment and its natural resources through communityparticipation and livelihood upliftment, with a holistic approach for sustainable living.Our activities in the villages relate to helping the farmers to uplift their livelihood. Increase ofeconomical, nutritional and health levels will bring ability to look beyond the immediate needs ofdaily life, and the understanding of the importance of preserving the villages' environment andits natural resources for a sustainable life. Here are our main programs:1. Creating & facilitating Self Help Groups and Training Farmers' Groups2. One-Woman-One-Kitchen-Garden Program3. Encouraging Small-scale businesses4.
