Sultech Global Innovations Corporation (Sultech) is commercializing a patented technology and related intellectual property for converting elemental Sulphur to Plant Nutrient Sulphur (PNS) & soil amendment using a low-cost proprietary micronization process. Sultech's Value Proposition is derived from: - Documented global requirements for PNS fertilizer and soil amendment for improving crop yield and restoring Sulphur depleted soils- Ready availability of elemental Sulphur from oil and sour gas processing- A plant design that is flexible both in terms of proximity to feedstock and capacity- A reduced carbon footprint for Sulphur producing oil & gas facilities through the onsite manufacture of a PNS fertilizer & soil amendmentProgress to Date Includes: - Acquired Patented Technology and Pilot Unit from Alberta Innovates Technology Futures (AITF) in 2014- Raised $1.43 million seed capital- Product Development Plant built and commissioned:- Continuous process production of micronized Sulphur with a median particle size of 19 µm- Successful specification and testing of pelletizer and dryer for fertilizer grade pastille- Successful preliminary field application trials of sprayable product (20 lbs micronized Sulphur at 5.5 gallon per acre)- Patent improvement applications filed for acquired technology and for intellectual property developed around target vessels & pumps, solids separation and slurry handling. - Favorable agronomical results from Alberta Innovates plot trials - Key personnel in place: corporate, engineering and operations- Strategy planned and implementation initiated
