SUNCNIM is the solar subsidiary of the CNIM group which designs, builds (EPC) and operates solar plants with energy storage for the production of electricity and thermal energy using its proprietary technologies in the field of CSP and PV.The in-house developed technologies are based :- For thermal energy on the principle known as Fresnel mirrors which brings many advantages : a competitive cost of steam, modular conception, robust, high local content and automatic operation.- For electricity using PV panels, batteries and an energy management system (EMS) developed by our sister company Bertin Technologies.SUNCNIM acts as an EPC contractor by providing complete turnkey solutions in design, construction and operation for the whole solar steam generator and CSP plants based on its historical skills in electricity, automation, mechanical, steam generation and thermodynamic cycles.Futhermore, SUNCNIM provides also Operation & Maintenance services during the entire plant lifetime.SUNCNIM belongs to the CNIM group (55%) and the SPI fund (45%) which is financed by the French government's Future Investment Program and operated by Bpifrance.
