Sun Cycles is a bicycle sharing company that is Orlando's sustainable, healthy, and community-based transport option that enhances urban livability and mobility. Sun Cycles utilizes the world's first bicycles with on-board computers, mobile communications, and integrated GPS-enabled locks. Members are able to find and unlock bikes using their mobile phones, or unlock them by entering their account information into the keypad on the lockbox. Not only is our approach more affordable and convenient than traditional bike share systems, they also allow for more comprehensive collection and analysis of bike trip data. Users will be able to view and share personal maps and statistics, and transportation planners can aggregate this data to improve the bike lane network to help the Orlando area become more bike friendly.
