We are professional whitewater kayaking instructors and guide service. Sundance has been a household name on the Rogue River since 1973. Our Kayak Schools have introduced many paddlers to their very first rapid and our guides enjoy sharing the glory of the Rogue with returning and first-time visitors. Sundance Kayak School's most unique product is our multi-day kayak instruction on the Wild and Scenic Rogue River. Beginner kayakers start with our 4 day kayak school on the recreational section of the Rogue River staying at the Riverhouse Camp Lodge. Intermediate and Advanced kayakers will join on the 5th day for our journey into the Wild and Scenic section where we will camp riverside each night. The natural progression of the Rogue River and it's pool drop character make it perfect for honing in on your kayak skills. Sundance Kayak School also offers private kayak instruction, group kayak instruction, kid's kayak camps & more! Ready to become a kayak instructor yourself? JR Weir is our in-house ACA Instructor Trainer. Sundance offers several ACA Level4 Whitewater Kayak Instructor courses throughout the year.
