Join artists who enjoy going out together as a group to make art on their days off. Love the Outdoors?Combine your love for the outdoors with art! Paint at campgrounds or stop along a hiking trail. Any favorite outdoor location can be a great place to paint! Paint "Alla Prima" (completed in a single session). Paint outs and workshops take place year round.Locations Locations may include: Urban settings Local attractions Hiking to scenic spots Artist camp-outs Day trips Regional art tourismTarget Locations April - October (Outdoor Paint-outs)October - March (Indoor art gatherings and workshops) As the weather changes, to allow for uncontrollable weather conditions, alternate locations will be listed along with the target location each week. Fees FREE Paint-Outs Sunday Painter holds regular FREE paint-outs in and around the Great Falls area. There are no fees for these events. However, donations are greatly appreciated as they help to offset the cost of organizing such gatherings. Or you may volunteer to bring something to share with the group that would add value to the event. (Examples include: prepackaged snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, etc.) PREMIUM Paint-Outs and Workshops Sunday Painter also holds special PREMIUM (admission fee required) paint-outs and workshops where a per-person admission fee is charged to cover the activity, venue admissions, room rental, model fees, etc. (Note: figurative workshops will typically be held during winter and peak summer seasons.) Admission costs will be announced with the event, when required.
