Sunflower Global is a social enterprise started in Nairobi Kenya dedicated to providing high-quality education to vulnerable students throughout the world. Through leveraging the resources of private institutions of excellence, Sunflower Global builds a more inclusive world for all students.Sunflower Global focuses on literacy and leadership development. As an organization it is dedicated to building a fully literate world at peace through developing socially conscious leaders who flout traditional ideas about achievement. Sunflower Global is founded on the believe that true leadership is the ability to see the lives of others as intrinsically linked to your own.We measure the potential to be a leader not through external achievement, but through personal character, curiosity and willingness to learn. Our LEAD principles, Love, Education, Action and Discipline, are the core philosophy of our Sunflower Fellows program, guiding everything we do.We train our Fellows today, to take on leadership roles tomorrow, solving pressing global issues while changing the culture of achievement, and what it truly means to be ‘successful'. Through our unique selection process, we ensure that students with no chance of being sponsored by another organization can continue their education and training at Sunflower.
