Sunovate is a clean tech development Company that was established specifically to commercialize novel renewable energy technologies. The newest of our clean-tech projects, Sunovate is the culmination of our work in the solar industry. The world is in the middle of an accelerating energy transition from fossil to sustainable energy sources and the demand for sustainable energy is booming. Heating accounts for more than 65% of final energy consumption in the energy sector. Only a fraction of that heat is being produced through solar technology. Sunovate is an innovative new technology that produces both electricity and heat. This is called photo-voltaic thermal (PVT). According to the International Energy Agency the PV/T technology is the most promising way to capture the energy of the sun. PV/T is heat and electricity on the same square meters; delivering up to 4 times more energy as conventional PV. With roof space at a premium combining heat & electricity on the same square meters makes sense. The Sunovate system deploys the benefits of both PV and solar heating in the one package. It allows our customers to make big savings on energy costs whilst reducing their environmental impact. The Sunovate design reduces system complexities and costs associated with other PVT designs whilst also providing consumers greater flexibility in the way they use energy.
