Sunset Transport, Inc is a trucking company headquartered in Seattle, Washington that was started in November 1994 by Tammy Geroy (now Kemp). From just two trucks in 1994, the company has grown in reputation and size, currently employing over 25 individuals, as well as 14 outside trucking companies that handle overflow. Sunset Transport now has an excellent reputation by delivering loads on time, every time, and with an emphasis on integrity and treating customers in a courteous manner. Our expertise is in transporting import & export shipping containers, primarily from either the Port of Seattle or Port of Tacoma to our customers' locations and back. We specialize in hauling overweight loads, and even have our own fleet of "super chassis," which are custom built trailers designed to carry these overweight containers. We carry a variety of loads, including paper, machinery, ferns and all types of consumables (ex. apples and potatoes), for a multitude of customers, producers and industries. In recognition of its outstanding reputation, Sunset Transport has also been awarded the "Regional Carrier of the Year" Award three times by the Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), one of the largest shipping lines in the world.
