Our aim is to create a cooperative supermarket in Berlin, based on the model of Brooklyn's Park Slope Food Coop and its 17,000 members. Its motto: "Good food at low prices for working members through cooperation".Is it possible? Paris just did it! La Louve Food Coop have been successfully running for two years, already break-even, reaching more than 4,000 active members and offering 4,000 products. And it keeps on growing! Who did that? The project was started by Tom Boothe, a Park Slope Food Coop member and filmmaker who missed his Coop so much that he created one in Paris! In 2016 he made a documentary to present the project to the French public.
