Market Research - Chapel Hill, NC, us
The Superfine group at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is focused on biological physics research, Current work is focused on how cells sense forces, how the physics of mucus clearance allows the lung to stay sterile and how the physics of molecules and biological processes create effective clots. The group is part of the Computer Integrated Systems for Microscopy and Manipulation (CISMM) and the Nanoscale Science Research Group (NSRG). Through these consortiums, we are part of a number of collaborations, both on and off campus. In addition, several members of the lab founded a startup company to develop new diagnostic equipment, methods, and instrumentation.
