SuperFood Drive is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to providing healthy non-perishables to populations in need.SuperFood Drive is changing the face of hunger by transforming all food drives into healthy Drives. There are over 37 million Americans who are dependent upon food banks. Individuals typically respond to food drives by pulling cans from the back of pantries; SuperFood Drive aims to change this process through community outreach and education to the individuals donating during food drives and as a result, provide nutritious foods to the those who would not otherwise have access to them.Founded in January 2009 in San Diego, California by Ruthi Solari, Nutritionist and Corporate Wellness Professional, SuperFood Drive pursues a vision in which every man, woman and child has access to nutritious food that is essential for an active and healthy life. Since 2009, SuperFood Drive has been successfully spreading to other cities and states throughout the country with the help of very passionate volunteer staff and exceptional community partners.SuperFood Drive works very closely with food banks in each community to bridge the awareness between hunger and nutrition.
