Superior Catering is a Farm-to-Table with a social impact approach operating out of the community of Monchy. Our mission to reduce poverty and improve food security is underpinned by our belief that the best route out of poverty for the majority of Saint Lucia's rural poor is the development of profitable agriculture with strong links to markets.•We are a socially responsible business operating across the value chains which have the potential to make a major positive social impact in the community. Currently focusing primarily on the Monchy community and with plans to expand further into nearby communities, we are raising agricultural productivity, increasing incomes, creating employment opportunities and in doing so, helping to reduce food insecurity, hunger and under nutrition in the community.•Superior Catering promotes buying local and facilitates direct connections between farmers and buyers in order to grow the local food economy. This work has been at the heart of Superior Catering since its inception and continues to be a major area of focus for us. We strengthen the farm-to-table networks in the region with a variety of initiatives.•1.Home Grown School Feeding Initiative: We are contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 2 & SDG 4) through a youth farm-to-table project which will supplement the local community school feeding programs.
