SMR is a National Buying Office and acts as a One Stop Shop for chains and independents in the Supermarket, Drug, and Convenience store channels. We offer prepaid pricing for both Drop Shipments and Warehouse deliveries, in addition to offering customer choice of either Direct or Centralized billing. We currently represent more than 300 manufacturers specializing in High Profit, In-and-Out promotions in the following categories: housewares, plastics, toys, seasonal (cover every major holiday throughout the year), dollar, floral, pet, hbc, snack/candy, licensed (both juvenile and sports), and much more.SMR was started back in 1962 - Now a third generation-owned company, Supermarket Representatives Inc. has been a leader for over 50 years in selling "High Profit, In & Out" General Merchandise, Pet Items and Candy to the Grocery Industry.Within the past 15+ years we have also started selling to many accounts in the Drug and Convenience Store sector.SMR sells to stores throughout the United States and Caribbean. We assist our accounts by selling them the "impulse" items that help push those much needed incremental dollars through the registers…increasing the stores' bottom line profits. We serve customers with 1 store as well as customers with over 1000 stores.Because of the high volume of business we do, we are able to get our vendors to offer our accounts the most competitive "delivered" pricing out there. We have pricing based on very small minimums as well as volume discounts for large chain orders.Additionally, for 55 years, SMR has hosted our own private trade show that is open only to our accounts.
