SEW is a non profit based in Vancouver, Washington who is currently doing work in Pakistan and Cambodia. We work alongside grassroots educational leaders in order to help them provide the best education for those in their prospective countries and communities since they know ground realities best. SEW began with an unlikely connection between Sister Zeph (grassroots educational leader in Pakistan) and Malee Kenworthy (Founder of SEW in America) 4 years ago (March 2015) because Malee was following Malala Yousafzai. Malala posted a documentary about Sister Zeph and her school and from there Malee reached out to Sister Zeph and a connection was formed. From there Malee ended up going to Pakistan twice between March 2016 and February 2018. Through successful fundraising and support SEW was created in 2018 and continues to grow.
