Support Sisterz is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization comprised of breast cancer survivors who have a passion to empower women fighting the same battle. We are operated by the dedication of volunteers and the generosity and support of our community. Our mission is to support women battling breast and gynecological cancers who live or work in Corona, Norco and Eastvale. Each of the Support Sisterz have fought our own battles with cancer, as a group we lost our sister, Cindy Moore. We started as friends supporting one another, but soon began reaching out to others. It seemed as if each survivor we met lead us to another, we were overwhelmed by the amount of women in our community who needed support. Now each of the Sisterz provide one on one counseling to survivors, in addition, we have a monthly support group, "Sisterz Sit Down". At Sisterz Sit Downs we share coffee, laughs, tears and help each other cope with daily life during and after cancer treatment. We also host an annual Meet and Greet event where we gather a group of survivors and share an evening of food, fun and fellowship.We started raising funds by attending local events where we held raffles with items donated by the community, The funds raised were used to purchase gift baskets and flowers for local women in treatment. It wasn't long before we realized it was our mission to reach out to women on a larger scale and Combat Cancer Walk was born. Through Combat Cancer Walk we have been able to start reaching out to many more survivors and help them in ways we never dreamed possible. We have been able to pay rents and utilities, large deductibles or services not covered by insurance, provide groceries and so much more. In honor of our individual battles with cancer and in memory of our dear sister Cindy Moore and others we've lost, we hope you'll join us in our mission to Support our local Sisterz in need and Combat Cancer!
