We work both inside and outside your child's specific educational system. We help determine and recognize the best educational and therapeutic resources available for optimum student results. For those children or young adults experiencing barriers due to academic or behavioral problems, we can recommend the latest, most reliable resources.We do whatever it takes to support you and your family throughout the process of determining appropriate school services. Our familiarity with a wide-range of school choices and programs throughout the U.S. allows us to share valuable knowledge pertinent to our clients' specific needs.About the Founder-David Parnes, M.Ed., is Supporting Education of Salem, Oregon.David has over 15 years in the classroom, teaching students with special needs. He founded Supporting Education so he could keep doing what comes naturally, making a difference in children's lives.This makes him more than just a tutor for your child. He is also a caring and mature advocate in that child's life, ready to help you. The parent or guardian has such a demanding role at home. Supporting Education can provide that guidance in the school setting.David Parnes is a tutor. But he and Supporting Education are also able to engage on behalf of your child when it comes to working with the school system.
