Surf Ghana aims to support and contribute to the easy access to Board-sports for all Ghanaians.The collective wants to use the practice of board sports as a driver for education, social inclusion, empowerment of young people. Our missions: to collect used sport equipment in France, Europe & US. To teach 1000 youth/year how to surf and skate To organize 10 cultural and sports events min/yearOur main goal is to develop a sport eco-system and non existant skills sets, and new jobs opportunities.With an original digital strategy, we also contribute to change the narrative about Africa through sport and creativity.Surf Ghana collective is accelerating the future of Africa by empowering the youth across a wide array of creative vocations also exposing the beautiful culture of Ghana making Accra a major attraction for tourism in Africa.Currently, in Africa, access to quality sports infrastructure is still a luxury while in the meantime tourism is placed third in terms of foreign exchange for countries as Ghana. Surf Ghana is unique in its vision of becoming fully sustainable by taking advantage of the huge tourism and migration wave currently growing in Africa, for the benefit of the Youth.The collective develops employability for the youth through surf and skate experiences serving both an enterprise and individual customer base. Using real estate assets such as sport guest houses the collective generates revenue to fund social projects annually.In 3 years, thanks to their community and customers, they've been able to upcycle more than 200 sports equipment, provide 1 500 surfing and skateboarding lessons, and launch successful original programs acclaimed by the media (Vogue, BBC, Now This, Afro-Punk, Arte, etc…) : SKATE TOUR GH, NOISE!, SKATE GAL CLUBWith a primary goal to provide 10 000 youth across Ghana receiving an extensive wellbeing and leadership program, we plan to build Ghana's first skatepark in 2021.
