Surf Life Saving Israel (SLSI) commenced in 2015, and is one of the many Surf Life Saving organizations throughout the world.The main goal of SLSI is to increase Water Safety Awareness, to deliver quality water safety programs and education in Israel and to reduce the number of drowning's across Israel.Our beginnings evolved from a group of Australians who saw a critical need to increase water safety awareness at Israeli beaches and who sought to find the right solution to this need. This solution is now at hand in a program developed in a strategic partnership with Surf Life Saving Australia the largest NGO in Australia.
