SurfaceScience®'s mandate is to preserve and protect today's various surfaces from the harsh environment in which we live. We also believe that quality products show in the ease of application, longevity and durability – all properties found in our products today. Here at SurfaceScience® we study and develop products that alter the surface of a manufactured item to achieve: improved appearance, adhesion, wettability, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance and wear resistance. In limited cases some of these techniques can be used to restore or even improve the original surface. Surface Science is the process of studying reactions of products and the composition of a surface they are applied to by altering characteristics of the surface such as roughness, hydrophobicity, biocompatibility and reactivity.
