Surly's Opened in April 2015, Surly's is an all American BBQ Restaurant introducing a very unique offering to Sydney. Located in a two-storey Art Deco building in Surry Hills, this rock and roll venue has live music, shuffleboards, 3 old school video games, and a vast selection of hand picked American memorabilia.Serving up simple American comfort food, using a fire-box smoker imported all the way from Missouri, this is the only place in Sydney that serves a diverse selection of true Southern American BBQ.What defines the BBQ at Surly's is that it is not just a focus on the popular yet small region of Texas, but showcases all of the regions distinct styles and flavours of Texas, Memphis, Carolina and Kansas City into one. The beer selection is epic and strongly concentrated on backing ‘the little guy', but also with a nod to some North American dive beers such as Coors and Blue Moon.
