Where leather car seats are showing signs of ‘age fatigue', the solution could be to clean and refurbish the leather using the Connollising process in the traditional way that leather car seat covers are coloured. Where the leather is badly worn or damaged, new leather seat covers can be made and fitted to the same pattern as the old leather covers, carefully selecting the best grade and colour of leather suitable for each task. Simple repairs are also undertaken, replacing individual seat panels with matching leather to make good torn, burnt or severely damaged areas. The addition of seat heaters is also an ‘extra' which is growing in popularity.However, we don't just work on leather seats; we can replace soft tops on all makes of convertible from an MG to a Rolls Royce or repair the existing soft top. This can include the repair of a torn fabric panel or the fitting of a new vinyl rear window where the old one has turned opaque. We can also make new tonneau covers for any convertible.No job is too challenging for us – we offer complete refurbishment and enhancement services which can include replacement head linings, passenger compartment carpets, new door linings, boot space refurbishment and new, hand stitched leather covers on steering wheels.
