Firm Philosphy:Sustainable Architecture, LLC (SA) evolved from the company Architectonics Group, LLC, founded in 2005. Although SA is a new company, the founder, Dave Chan, brings a wealth of experience from his 22 year background in the architecture and construction industry. SA believes that serving a client's needs properly require much more than providing traditional architectural services. We believe that integrating sustainable design goals with architectural design goals from project initiation is vital to success. We also believe in involving the Client, the engineering disciplines, the Contractor, Using Agency, and all stakeholders to identify all the project requirements before beginning the design. For larger projects, we develop and maintain a communication plan to ensure that information is properly communicated to the right individuals and that the proper information is communicated. We develop scope management plans so that identified scope may be verified by the Client. Additionally, we plan quality into our projects by developing a quality management plan. This allows us to identify applicable quality standards, to ensure that quality controls are implemented, and to correct quality deficiencies as required. Lastly, we manage risk via a Risk Management Plan. We identify risks, conduct qualitative risk analysis, quantitative risk analysis, plan risk responses, and monitor and control risks.
