New York is the first major U.S. city to have aligned its master planning with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals [SDGs]. We are forming cross-sector coalitions and consortia to develop SDG-aligned innovation hubs adjacent to transit stops across the city and pass an amendment to the Zoning Resolution to harness the potential of new real estate development to fund capital improvements to the city's economic, environmental, social, and cultural infrastructure.In the meantime, we are seeking collaborators to develop the following online properties in support of Global Vision, Urban Action campaigning (more info at the NYC Mayor's Office of International Affairs: https://www1.nyc.gov/site/international/programs/global-vision-urban-action.page).sdgs.nyc - mapping of projects across the city, displaying metrics on the 17 SDGsglobalgoals.nyc - citizen engagement through multimedia channels (combination of professionally produced and user generated audio-visual content)agenda2030.nyc - project and policy documentationsustdev.nyc - Sustainable Development Goal-aligned investments platformInterested in becoming a founding stakeholder in this initiative?
