"Sustainable Energy Development Fund" is called to contribute to the development of sustainable energies, especially solar energy in socially vulnerable communities in Armenia, by giving them the opportunity to have electricity and hot water from sustainable energy sources. The Fund's goals are: - enhancing access to affordable, reliable and sustainable energy sources, for vulnerable individuals and communities and public institutions such as schools, social and cultural centres, via full financing, co-financing and borrowing methods, - raising awareness on renewable energy sources in order to have an energy- and sustainability-conscious generation, and raise sustainable energy demand, via our website: www.senergy.am/news - protecting the environment and reducing carbon emissions, - promoting regional development, improving economic, environmental and human security, - promoting business development in renewable energy sector, by collaborating with solar panels and collectors installing companies. We are on the crossroad of 2 different roads: affordable energy and sustainable development of rural communities guarantee the progress, and vice versa, the social destabilization can have serious consequences for the entire country. "Sustainable Energy Development Fund" is the cornerstone of the development.
