Sustainable Financing Association is supported by the main Institution and by a team of some of the most important entrepreneurs in north-east led by Giuseppe Razza, an entrepreneur specialised in the development of high-tech businesses in the field of sustainability with privileged relations in particular in Eastern European countries.The project is rooted in a series of positions taken by the European Union which already in 2019 had affirmed the need to renew the European financial architecture for development, the idea is to propose Trieste as the official headquarters of the new European Bank for Sustainable Development. The city benefits from several advantages both related to its location and to the free zone regime which could contribute to making Trieste the ideal headquarters of the new Bank.
