Sustainable Gardeners is a Colorado Limited Liability Company on a mission to drive positive change in the legal Cannabis Industry.Our Mission:We aim to merge the philosophy of permaculture with an advanced greenhouse facility in Colorado to drive sustainable cultivation practices into the Cannabis Industry.Permaculture is a design strategy that models natural ecosystems to conserve energy, recycle resources, and give back to the community. Sustainable Gardeners plans to implement this methodology by cultivating in large soil beds of natural, locally derived materials. Nutrient-rich compost, nitrogen-fixing cover crops, worms, bugs, bacteria and fungi all work together to provide a lush soil-food web. In addition, unused plant material that is commonly thrown out can be reprocessed into useable organic matter to feed living organisms in the soil. The natural cycle of life that occurs in our system is completely regenerative. Regenerative soil means minimal inputs for each new cycle, greatly reducing costs and our carbon footprint.By optimizing the design of a near-passive solar greenhouse, artificial lighting is provided only as a supplement to daylight. Heat accumulated from the sun during the day can be stored in the ground and used again at night when temperatures drop. Finally, the Sustainable Gardeners ideal greenhouse are designed with a completely sealed structure, which greatly suppresses odor penetration to the exterior.Our vision is to create an environment where sustainability meets cultivation for truly unique solutions in pursuit of carbonless cannabis.
