The massive amount of plastic the world produces is not a new issue to us however, it has always been easy to not feel the immensity of the problem because plastic waste is probably not piling up in our own backyards. Every day we buy products, consume them, toss away the packaging and never think about where that packaging actually ends up.It wasn't until the travel bug bit and we visited places like South East Asia, Mozambique, and South Africa that the plastic crisis became real to us. Those gorgeous beaches that we have all seen in pictures and movies are actually littered with plastic. After falling down a rabbit hole of research, we discovered that the reason why we don't feel this issue much of the time is that we export the majority of our plastic waste to other countries - 45,000 tonnes a year to be exact - and that really resonated with us. We looked at each other and said: "there has got to be a better way"... And that is when Sustainably Stocked was born. We exist because we want to change the way we consume our favourite products to one that is effortless, impactful, and - most importantly - sustainable.
