Here at Sustainera, we are all about two things: Environmental responsibility and the education. We see the 21st century as the era of more sustainable, green markets, in which the ecological responsibility is fairly shared between both market's participants: individuals and companies. The idea is simple: Without possibilities, individuals can not change much. However, without well informed individuals, all possibilities will remain only an unfulfilled opportunities. Sustainera is there to link the two, and help both actors make responsible decisions. That is why we put so much importance on local community. We think global, we act local.All of our products meets highest certification criteria, and we are restlessly working on expanding our list of products and services. At this moment, we are offering compostable bags, bin liners and coffee cups and lids. Our bags are 100% compostable, and they are perfect substitutes for plastic bags. By using Sustainera bags, customers do not need to change a single good habit: they get a bag that looks the same as plastic bags, they use the bag for a grocery shopping, and as usually, they can use the bag as the compost bin liner. That is when individual responsibility takes place: despite being compostable, bags should not be thrown out in a river, or on a street. The final act has to be the act of individual responsibility.The same goes for our cups and lids. They are 100% plastic free, and we expect companies around AU to offer that as a possibility to people. Then we expect people to use the opportunity they have gotten.Environmental protection must be a shared effort. However, the goal is common.
