SustainTrain is a youth-led organization initiated to contribute towards accomplishing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs, set in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly and intended to be achieved by the year 2030, are part of UN Resolution 70/1, the 2030 Agenda. From our name, "Sustain" signifies the ability to meet our own needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs and "Train" metaphorically represents how we are hopping on a "train", picking all of you up along the way, and reaching our ideal destination, a sustainable world. Now it's up to all of you to join forces with us to address the most pressing global challenges and turn goals into action.
