Founded in 1990, Swedish Cricket Federation (SCF) is the governing body for cricket in Sweden. Currently, SCF organizes the domestic league comprising 35 clubs participating across Sweden. Our aim is to further Cricket in Sweden and also organize more cricket at all levels. SCF is an affiliate member of International Cricket Council (ICC) and is funded by the grants from the ICC. The SCF is also in charge of selecting and offering training to the national Cricket team. In May 2011 Sweden won the ICC Europe Division 3 competition in Slovenia and also participated in the ICC Division 2 Europe Twenty/20 in Brussels, Belgium. In 2012 Team Sweden traveled to Corfu, Greece to participate in European T20 Cricket Division 2 where team Sweden finished 2nd in the competition and gained promotion to ICC Europe Division 1 at the same time. In 2013 team Sweden travelled to England where they participated in ICC Europe Division 1 and competed against teams like Italy, Germany, Belgium, Guernsey, and Norway.
